The Country Glenn Neighborhood Association
Country Glenn is a historic midtown Tucson neighborhood established in the late 1940s to house returning World War II veterans during America's westward expansion. The first home was built in 1949, with more rapid development following in the early 1950s.
Bounded by Glenn Street, Grant Road, Tucson Boulevard, and Country Club Road, Country Glenn offers the perfect balance of urban accessibility and neighborhood charm. We're close to the University of Arizona but not too close, with easy access to local markets, restaurants, and amenities. The Treat Avenue bike boulevard runs through our neighborhood, making car-free commuting convenient and safe.

Neighborhood Businesses & Organizations
The Country Glenn Neighborhood Association serves as the official liaison between our community and the City of Tucson. Our volunteer board advocates for improvements that benefit all residents and hosts neighborhood-wide events to build a strong community.
We secure city-wide grants to fund infrastructure improvements, including traffic calming measures like chicanes on Treat Avenue to protect cyclists and pedestrians. We've partnered with Tucson Water to establish our pocket park at Alturas Street and Treat Avenue, featuring rainwater harvesting basins that prevent flooding while irrigating native plantings.
The board meets regularly to address resident concerns, identify enhancement opportunities, and ensure Country Glenn's voice is heard in city planning decisions.
